Your role

  • You advise companies on the strategic management and operational optimization of working capital and cash management as part of performance improvement, transformation, and restructuring programs.
  • In doing so, you take responsibility for individual workstreams and support the coordination of cross-functional teams (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales) in interdisciplinary projects, and build trust-based client relationships at eye level.
  • As a senior consultant, you develop sustainable cash excellence initiatives as part of overarching value creation strategies (e.g., CFO agenda, operating model, finance transformation).
  • You shape cash targets within the context of broader business strategies (e.g., growth financing, investment flexibility, capital efficiency).
  • You analyze end-to-end processes to identify cash potential and operational levers.
  • You design dashboards, cash KPIs, and performance tracking structures – and set up liquidity plans to monitor and embed the measures effectively.
  • Beyond client work, your contribution to internal development is also valued: You engage in business development initiatives, support acquisition efforts, and mentor junior team members.

Your profile

  • You hold an excellent university degree and bring several years of experience from a leading transaction, restructuring, or strategy consultancy – or from the field of finance and performance improvement.
  • You bring initial experience as a (partial) project leader, demonstrating your ability to manage complex initiatives.
  • You possess a deep understanding of working capital and cash as strategic levers for value creation.
  • You have a proven track record in executing structured improvement programs, with a focus on achieving sustainable impact.
  • You possess a strong affinity for financial processes and interdependencies, coupled with the ability to translate them into actionable insights.
  • You combine strategic and analytical thinking with an entrepreneurial mindset, while maintaining a pragmatic, hands-on approach to implementation.
  • You are a collaborative team player who thrives in dynamic, interdisciplinary environments.
  • You are fluent in German and English, enabling you to operate seamlessly in both local and international contexts.
